It was an absolute pleasure meeting this lovely family from Duporth earlier this year. They commissioned an oil painting of their gorgeous view of Duporth Bay. The view from their patio area, situated just outside of their lounge, through their patio doors. I initially met with the customers to discuss the painting. What particular aspects of the view it was that they loved, such as the small beach in the distance and the way the sun sparkled on the sea. They wanted to bring the outside in, a mirror image. This home has beautiful soft pastel tones throughout and they wanted the painting to sit well within the space it was intended, complementing the soft furnishings and giving a contemporary feel.
I delivered the finished painting just yesterday and was delighted to see it in the space it was intended for. The customer was very pleased with the finished painting to. Stating how wonderful it is to be able to still enjoy the view they love so much within their home, when the sun has gone in.
